Hello y'all!! (Sound like Paula Deen don't I!! lol) I am now in the "sunny south", eastern Tennessee to be exact. My view in all directions is the Smokey Mountains with us actually sitting on flat land in a valley. Adjustment is not going to be easy - I'm afraid a set appointment and "hurry" haven't caught on down here yet. However, a month into our new house we are extremely pleased. There are still over 100 boxes to open and a home to be found for all that is in "those" boxes. The hard part seems to be unpacking, but to find a new home for what is unpacked and then "remembering" where that new home is!!!!! lol Anyway, this is going to take a while. Heard horror stories of people living in their new home for years and still don't have all the boxes opened. I won't give Buster the ability to say "I told you so" -- so believe me all of the boxes will be emptied and put away by Christmas. Have promised myself.
I will post photos occasionally to let you know how the house is proceeding, right now trying to raise grass!! lol.
Thank you EVERYONE for your patience during this EXPERIENCE. Have not moved in 40 years and to say "OVERWHELMING" is a definite UNDERSTATEMENT.
